We at Packer
Farms pride ourselves on selling quality products
at fair farm prices. We sell dry oak firewood
year round. In August we switch gears to sell
the best sweet corn in town. Our fall festival
goes from the 1st week in September to Halloween.
During our fall festival we sell pumpkins of
all shapes
and sizes, mini pumpkins, large and small gourds,
corn bundles, large and mini straw
bales, honey, mums, and of course firewood.
We do also offer fall decorating and delivery
service for residential and business clients.
During our fall festival we charge no
admission, parking, or any kind of hidden fees.
Simply come and purchase our low priced pumpkins
and fall decorations and receive unlimited free
fall fun. During our fall festival we offer
a straw bale pyramid with slide, pumpkin bowling,
haunted garage, pedal tractors, photo opportunities,
and much more, all for free!
Our farm is located at 16029 Round Lake Blvd.
Andover, MN 55304 which is on the SE corner
of Round Lake Blvd. and 161st Ave NW in Andover.
Our family has lived here for over 70 years.
Four generations of Packers! Although we have
been located at our current location for over
70 years we are not our family’s first
generation to live and farm in Andover. According
to the Anoka County Historical Society, seven
generations ago our great, great, great, great
grandfather Andrew J. Smith was one of the early
settlers in Grow Township (now Andover). He
purchased a tract of land on the Rum River in
Grow Township. It was Andrew J. Smith’s
great granddaughter and her husband that first
purchased the original 160 acres of land. Although
they didn’t know it at the time this would
be the beginning of Packer Family Farms.
